?Team GamerLegion and Eternal Fire last met during the Pinnacle Winter Series #2 group stage, just under two weeks ago, when Eternal Fire took the series lead with 16-8 on Overpass but lost the following two maps with 5-16 on Nuke and 13-16 on Mirage. So even though GamerLegion won, it had more to do with Eternal Fire choking rather than GamerLegion proving that they’re the better team.
GamerLegion won largely thanks to Ivan “iM” Mihai, who was on fire, with 1.94 and 1.22 performance ratings on the final two maps. In contrast, Eternal Fire’s star players in ?smailсan “XANTARES” D?rtkarde? and ?zgür “woxic” Eker had negative average ratings (<1.00) on Mirage and Nuke. Evidently, GamerLegion are good enough to test Eternal Fire, and if iM can have another solid performance, they might win again. But at this price, it's hard to pass on Eternal Fire.
Eternal Fire to win

K23 won against SKADE at the end of January (2-1), but it was a close match that could have easily ended the other way. K23 won the first map with 22-19 on Mirage, lost on Inferno (16-11) and closed out the series with another overtime win (19-16) on Dust II.
The Russian-Kazakhstani squad have since played 16 games and won all but three (13-3), and they even took down Heroic during the first Pinnacle Series at the start of February. As good as it may seem, that result doesn’t mean much since Heroic likely didn’t care about the Pinnacle Series, with IEM Katowice 2022 just around the corner.
Over the same stretch, SKADE have played 15 games and won all but five (10-5), which is a decent run, and it includes a couple of solid showings against Dignitas (2-0), Apeks (2-0), and Tricked Esports (2-0). The CS:GO betting odds suggest K23 should win, which sounds fair, but they nearly lost the last time they met with SKADE, so there is no value in backing them at -188.68.
So instead of betting on the favourites, we will settle for a bet on over 2.5 maps. The two squads looked evenly matched in January, and we expect another close affair on Thursday.
