Besides moving from London to Carolina, the Royal Ravens also formed a new lineup for the 2024 Call of Duty League season. Featuring three-time CoD world champion James “Clayster” Eubanks, Adam “GodRx” Brown, Isaiah “Gwinn” Gwinn, and José “ReeaL” Manuel Fernández, the Royal Ravens’ roster looks like it could do some damage. But there are also some questions.
The GodRx-Clayster AR combo could be the Royal Ravens’ biggest strength but also their biggest weakness. And perhaps an even more significant factor is which version of Clayster we will see on MW3.
Miami Heretics formed an all-Spanish CoD roster featuring players who had an excellent Challengers season in 2022-23. However, the majority have never competed in the CDL, so it’s tough to say how this team will do.
Both of these teams are something of an enigma. This match can go either way, so we prefer the Spanish outfit at outsider odds with the top CDL betting sites.
Miami Heretics to win
LAS VEGAS LEGION vs MINNESOTA R?KKR CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | Legion +110 at BetOnline | ROKKR -151.52 at BetOnline |
When: | December 9, 2023 | 16:30 EST |

Minnesota R?KKR replaced their entire lineup in August 2023 following an underwhelming Call of Duty League season. They claimed two CDL Major bronze medals in 2023, but for the amount of money the R?KKR spent, they were expected to show more.
For this season, the R?KKR have added Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi, Thomas “Lynz” Gregorio, Joseph “Owakening” Conley, and Reece “Vivid” Drost. With such an exciting lineup, Minnesota will be expecting at least a top-six finish.
Las Vegas Legion are priced as +110 underdogs with BetOnline for this match, which sounds right. Even though the Legion’s lineup isn’t terrible, it lacks a few pieces — namely a leader. Moreover, the Dylan “Nero” Koch and Eli “Standy” Bentz SUB duo seems pretty weak compared to what other teams have in those positions.
Las Vegas Legion might surprise, but we’re sticking with Minnesota R?KKR to win.
Minnesota ROKKR to win
TORONTO ULTRA vs LOS ANGELES GUERRILLAS CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Ultra -625 at BetOnline | Guerrillas +394 at BetOnline |
When: | December 9, 2023 | 18:00 EST |

Los Angeles Guerrillas’ offseason was a complete mess, and it wasn’t until the end of November that they finally put together a roster. Unfortunately, there isn’t much about this lineup to feel excited about.
Conor “Diamondcon” Johst deserves a spot in the CDL, and so does Kevin “Fame” Bonanno. But while all players are fit to compete at the top level, LA Guerrillas don’t have nearly as much quality as other teams — including their next opponents.
Toronto Ultra kept their core intact for the 2024 season, only swapping out Charlie “Hicksy” Hicks for Dylan “Envoy” Hannon. This looks like an excellent decision, as Envoy has far more experience than Hicksy and should fit in with the squad well.
As the latest CoD esports odds suggest, there is a massive gap between Toronto Ultra and Los Angeles Guerrillas. This should be an easy 3-0 sweep for the favourites.

SEATTLE SURGE vs BOSTON BREACH CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | Surge +114 at BetOnline | Breach -149.25 at BetOnline |

Seattle Surge rebuilt their CoD division entirely this offseason and signed three proven veterans: Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, Cuyler “Huke” Garland, and Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal. The trio will link up with Jordan “Abuzah” Fran?ois, a promising player from CoD Challengers.
The problem with this lineup is that we don’t know who will play AR. Arcitys and iLLeY are both AR players, but so was Abuzah last season. The role allocation is something Seattle will have to figure out if they wish to contest for the top spots.
After an up-and-down season, Boston Breach made several changes and put together a solid lineup. Bringing in two veterans, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner and Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat, and surrounding them with younger talent could work out beautifully. But, like any roster built on the same idea, it will take time to reach its full potential.
There are questions around both teams, but there is not much to separate them talent-wise. That’s why we prefer Seattle at plus money.
