IEM Rio will be the second CS:GO Major of 2022 and the first ever Major to be held in Brazil. IEM Rio 2022 will kick off with the Challenger Stage on October 31, with the Grand Final set to be played on November 13. IEM Rio Major 2022
The IEM Rio Major 2022 will kick off on October 31 with 16 teams from the Europe, Americas and Asia RMR’s battling it out for the last eight spots in the Legends Stage which will begin on November 5.
Once the main event (Legends Stage) kicks off we will have the final 16 teams all fighting for the US$1,250,000 prize pool with the winner walking away IEM Rio Major champions and taking home US$500,000.
IEM Rio will be held in the Jeunesse Arena, Rio de Janeiro, which can hold up to 18,000 people, meaning there will be an amazing atmosphere for the first ever Major in Brazil, something that the players will never forget.

- Legends Stage: November 5th – 8th
- Champions Stage: November 10th – 13th
