?Kwangdong Freecs and Hanwha Life Esports have managed only two wins this season (2-6), and yet the esports betting sites believe Freecs have a much better chance to win this bout. They might win, but it’s hard to find a solid argument in favour of Kwangdong.
The teams are evenly matched talent-wise, and the only reason why you could doubt Hanwha Life is their poor performance on Friday when they lost against DRX. But they still won a map against T1 two days prior as +610 underdogs.
Kwangdong also produced solid results last week, namely a 2-0 sweep of Nongshim RedForce, but we have to mention that RedForce were missing players due to COVID. And that was Kwangdong’s first win in five games, with four 0-2 defeats.
There is no reason to side with Kwangdong over Hanwha Life at the offered odds. The value is with the outsiders.

?DRX are 5-3 after four weeks of play, which is impressive for their standards. Last week they won against KT Rolster and Hanwha Life Esports, thus extending their winning streak to five, having beaten Kwangdong Freecs, Fredit BRION, and Nongshim RedForce in weeks two and three.
DRX have been playing well, but there’s a good reason why they’re priced as underdogs against DWG KIA, even though the 2020 LoL world champions have managed the same number of wins across their last eight outings. DWG KIA are individually much stronger than DRX, and their only three defeats of the season have come against LCK top dogs in Gen.G, T1, and Nongshim RedForce.
DWG are a more well-rounded team and should defeat DRX, but Hong “Pyosik” Chang-hyeon and his crew have been playing well enough for us to believe they can be competitive. DRX and DWG KIA also tend to play longer games this season (36:05 and 35:46), so there is value on over 35:30 map duration at -106.38.
