Nongshim RedForce looked like serious title contenders heading into this season, and many people had them high on their list due to all the talent on this roster. Unfortunately, RedForce have yet to find any traction and are 3-7 ahead of the sixth week of play. Still, we can’t forget that RedForce had many COVID problems, so we wouldn’t overreact to their iffy results.
So while the offered LoL odds on this match make sense, if we consider how good Gen.G have looked (8-2) compared to RedForce, we would argue that talent-wise, Gen.G are not that much stronger.
We like Nongshim RedForce with a +1.5 handicap for this match, simply because the odds are way too high for how good this team can be. We don’t expect the outsiders to cause an upset, but they are a good bet to win a map at $1.80.

DWG KIA arguably have the best mid-jungle duo in the world in Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu and Heo “ShowMaker” Su, but the pair seem like they don’t have a strong synergy with the rest of the team. It’s an unfortunate situation for DWG KIA, who could easily be one of the top LCK teams, but something isn’t clicking, and results speak for themselves.
If DWG KIA figure things out, they will be a terrifying team. But it’s anyone’s guess when and if that happen.
Considering DWG KIA’s recent slip-ups, it would make sense to side against them for this match, but there is no reason to believe Kwangdong Freecs can come out ahead. Admittedly, DWG KIA’s bottom lane has been struggling of late, but even with that handicap, DWG KIA are much better than KDF.
Given their past struggles, backing DWG KIA to sweep Kwangdong Freecs might seem a bit risky, but they’re an excellent bet with a -1.5 map handicap at the offered betting odds.
