?The first round of the Rocket League Spring Major saw more upsets than anyone could have foreseen. Most notably, G2 Esports crashed out from the upper quarter-finals, where they suffered a shocking reverse-sweep (2-3) defeat against Karmine Corp.
Before that, KC also won against FURIA Esports (3-0) and are looking unbelievably strong ahead of this bout, but the question remains: will KC manage to keep playing at this level, or will they start to crumble when faced with tougher opposition such as Version1?
There is no clear answer, and it’s hard to say which team will come out ahead. KC deserve a lot of respect for what they’ve shown, but it’s very difficult to go against Version 1, who have looked just as good this tournament but have achieved far more over the season. We are leaning more towards Version1, but we’re getting the same odds on over 5.5 maps, which is a bet that makes more sense.

?Spacestation Gaming had a rough start in their match against Pioneers, but they found traction just in time to reverse-sweep their round-one opponents (3-2), adding a convincing 3-1 victory against Team Secret in round two.
On the other side, Team Falcons dismantled Team liquid (3-1) in round one and outclassed FaZe Clan (3-1). Although seeing Falcons beat Liquid and FaZe isn’t shocking, we were impressed with their performances in the two bouts.
Both teams have done enough to earn our respect ahead of this clash; however, there is no denying that Team Falcons have looked better. We can imagine Spacestation taking a couple of maps, but this is Falcons’ game to lose.
