What is the RLCS 2024 Major 2?
For the first time since 2020, the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) will feature only two Major tournaments during the 2024 season. Following an offseason shake-up, the RLCS has restructured the season into two splits. In each split, top Rocket League teams will compete in three open qualifiers within their respective regions. The best-performing teams from these qualifiers will then advance to an international Major.
Open qualifiers will be held across North America, Europe, South America, Oceania, Middle East & North Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Throughout the qualifiers and Majors, teams will earn RLCS Circuit Points, which will determine their eligibility for the season-ending Rocket League World Championship.
Major 2 will be a four-day event featuring 16 teams competing for a share of the US$255,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home US$75,000.
