Rogue just made the announcement of a new alliance with Razer, the most successful gaming lifestyle brand on a worldwide scale. Razer will be the official peripheral partner for both the Rogue LEC League of Legends team and the Rogue AGO League of Legends team.
As a liaison, Razer will provide the teams with various gaming accessories, including headphones, keyboards, mice, and mousepads.
This industry-leading equipment will help Rogue’s League of Legends teams continue their winning tradition.
Rogue surpassed expectations from the previous year and returned to the top spot in the LEC for the Spring Split 2022. The Rogue team finished in first place throughout the regular season and achieved second place in the grand finals of the Spring 2022 Playoffs after adding South Korean jungler Geun-Seong “Malrang” Kim and Greek bot lane player Markos “Comp” Stamkopoulos. Rogue’s list of partners now includes gaming chair manufacturer AutoFull, Republic of Gamers, and ReKT Global. Razer is the newest member of Rogue’s roster of partners.
This is the first collaboration that Rogue has entered into for the year; however, towards the end of 2021, the organization collaborated with a number of other businesses. To be more specific, Rogue has continued its collaboration with the automobile manufacturer Kia Motors and has formed a deal with the North American mortgage lender Guaranteed Rate for its Rocket League squad.
In addition, the esports organization has just distributed its first merchandise release of the year, which is a collection called “Defy Expectations.”
When it comes to Razer, the year 2022 has proven to be one of the busiest ever for the company in the esports scene. The company has formed partnerships with many esports organizations, including KRC Genk Esports Guild Esports, Envy Gaming, Knicks Gaming, and a Female VALORANT competition that will take place in Brazil.
Flo Gutierrez, Global Esports Director at Razer, commented:
“We are very happy to welcome Rogue to Team Razer, Rogue has showcased incredible results in the LEC for some time and they will find themselves in good company with other elite Esports teams from around the world under the Razer banner. We are looking forward to even more epic plays and wins from them as they head into the Summer Split with the backing of Razer as their hardware partner.
Jon Urwin, Vice President of Commercial Partnerships at ReKTGlobal, stated that the alliance will help both companies achieve great objectives and soar to higher levels.
“Together with a strong partner like Razer, Rogue is training hard for the upcoming Summer Split. We invite the world to watch as this team reaches even further and finally wins the LEC trophy, travels to the World Championship in North America, and represents Europe as the first seed team.”
Rogue also maintains competitive lineups in Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege in addition to League of Legends.
