This collaboration will have both parties launch a lineup of educational live streams featuring League of Legends streamer Drew “Midbeast” Timbs and LCO interviewer Athena “kittwy” Jiang.

Other skilled players, such as Alex Glenn, a former professional rugby league player and Aiden “Ayekay” Hiko, a member of the Chiefs, will also be participating in the show. In addition, there will be a live tour of the Chiefs Country Club provided during the course of the broadcast’s four-hour duration.

According to Chiefs’ CEO Nick Bobir, the entire organisation is very excited about the upcoming show and said working with “Maccas” was always productive.

“Plus, having the opportunity to bring incredible talent like Kitty and Midbeast together, as well as have them streaming live from the house is an awesome opportunity,” he said.

“I’m excited to see how they stack up against our League of Legends roster.”

Due to this partnership, fans from all over the region, who tune in to the streams will have the opportunity to win a wide variety of prizes, including merchandise that is exclusive to the collaboration between McDonald’s and, the Chiefs, which will be unveiled on the day the show begins.

The broadcast will start at 11 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Sunday, August 21. It can be seen on Midbeast’s Twitch channel.

For some time now, McDonald’s has been working to expand its presence in the world of esports. A couple of months ago, the quick-service food company collaborated with Nicecactus to host a series of FIFA22 tournaments in six different nations located in the MENA region.

Recently, an agreement to collaborate on a variety of activations was reached between the Australian esports organization and the shopping center company Westfield. This agreement is spanned for a period of two years. McDonald’s Australia has now joined the organization as its sixth partner, following in the footsteps of Westfield, the battery manufacturer Energizer, the skincare brand L’Oréal Paris Men Expert, and the gaming chair firm AndaSeat,

The Chiefs have also created resourceful partnerships with the likes of Optus, the telecommunications company and esports organisation, JLINGZ Esports.

The Australian esports organization is regarded as one of the most prestigious esports clubs in Oceania, and it fields teams competing in games like League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege and Halo Infinite.

The Chiefs’ League of Legends team competes in the LCO, which is the highest tier of League of Legends competition in Oceania.

?Chiefs Esports Club made it into the LCO Split 1 Playoffs as the fifth seed, finishing the regular season with a 7-7 record. They’ve done against lower-table teams, but we have yet to see Chiefs put up any meaningful resistance against top dogs such as Dire Wolves, PEACE and Pentanet.gg.

ORDER managed a slightly better 8-6 record and ended the regular season with an impressive win against PEACE, yet the latest LoL betting odds price them as underdogs. Chiefs did not do anything of note in the last two weeks of the season, so it is hard to understand how they are favourites.

Chiefs might have a higher ceiling, but the form they’ve been showing recently doesn’t convince us they’re worth a shot at -161.29. We’re taking the plus money.

?Even though winning a best-of-one (Bo1) is not the same as winning a Bo5, it does not make much sense to have PEACE priced as favourites against Dire Wolves. These sides met last Saturday in a LCO Split 1 tiebreaker match which ended in favour of Dire Wolves, who are now 2-1 in the head-to-head in 2021.

While some may argue PEACE deserved to win last time out as they were in the lead for most of the game, there is no denying Wolves had better macro play. We would even go so far as to say Wolves were never in real danger of losing, largely thanks to their drake control.

Although Wolves’ win on Saturday does not guarantee them success here, they’re definitely worth a bet at better than even money. They have already shown they can compete with PEACE, and as long as they can avoid giving up too much in the early game, the outsiders should come out ahead.

ORDER’s three-game winning streak came to an end on Friday, when they had to admit defeat to Dire Wolves in what was a fairly one-sided series for George “Farmer” Normore’s squad. Although ORDER held on relatively well in the early game, they were unable to match Wolves in the late game due to their subpar draft.

ORDER haven’t been doing too well this season but they’re still a very strong early-game team, especially when it comes to securing first bloods. They boast the league’s best 72.7% first blood rate, however, they’re still a team that fails to translate these early leads into something meaningful.

We don’t feel comfortable betting on ORDER to defeat Pentanet.gg, while it makes no sense to side with the favourites at the provided odds. That said, the proposition bet on ORDER to get first blood at $2.14 is worth a shot, considering Pentanet.gg are not particularly effective in doing so themselves (54.5% FB).

Legacy Esports have not been looking too hot this season and have definitely not impressed in their losses against Pentanet.gg and PEACE. Although the reigning Oceanic champions were in a good position to win both bouts, they were unable to seal the deal largely due to their poor mid-late game.

Dire Wolves are a momentum-driven team, meaning they usually win games in which they gain early leads, but often lose badly when they fall behind. Due to this trait, we can imagine a world where Wolves lose against an early-game oriented team such as Legacy, however, we can’t trust a squad that seemingly has no idea what to do when the laning phase ends.

We don’t feel comfortable betting on Legacy to win and at $1.19 there is no reason to take DW either, so we will take the same approach as with the previous prediction. Legacy are priced as high as $2.27 to secure first blood, which is very generous considering they have managed to get their name on the board first in 63.6% of their games, whereas DW did the same in only 54.5% of their bouts.

Chiefs Esports Club and Gravitas last met just over two weeks ago, when Chiefs won with 21-6 in kills and over 13k gold lead. Chiefs have since played five games (+ one forfeit against MAMMOTH) and lost all but their clash with Legacy Esports.

Gravitas have managed one win out of six outings during that stretch, and even that sole victory came against MAMMOTH, which is hardly worth celebrating. Regardless of their lack of success, Gravitas aren’t much weaker than Chiefs, who have yet to prove they can consistently win games – even against weaker sides.

This is a clash between two sides that are struggling with their form, so it doesn’t make much sense to see such a big price gap. At the provided odds, we will take Gravitas, not necessarily because they’re playing better than Chiefs, but rather because Chiefs are performing just as poorly.

?After losing their entire team in November, Legacy Esports rebuilt their roster with local talent who have yet to impress three weeks into LoL Circuit Oceania (LCO) Split 1. In eight games played, Legacy’s only two wins have come against ORDER and MAMMOTH.

Gravitas enter the penultimate week of LCO Split 1 on a six-game losing streak that commenced right after their narrow victory against Legacy in February. That form might suggest that Legacy should claim a revenge win on Tuesday, but the quality gap between these two sides is not nearly as big as the odds imply.

Gravitas have been holding on well in most of their games but seem unable to snowball their leads, which has cost them a couple of wins. That said, it’s not like Legacy are much more effective in closing down games, so you have to take Gravitas at higher odds.

?There is no denying that ORDER (4-4) have been doing much better than MAMMOTH (1-7) this split. MAMMOTH’s poor early-game is their biggest weakness, as it is extremely difficult to fight back from behind in the current meta. ORDER have thrown away leads a couple of times this split, but they rarely drop the ball against weaker sides.

Betting on ORDER makes little to no sense to us at this price, especially in such a volatile league. Instead, we like the favourites to secure the first blood, which they have done in 75% of their games so far, largely thanks to their aggressive jungler William “Vengeance” Blackmore.

?These teams last met in February when PEACE needed just south of 42 minutes to seal the deal with 19-13 in kills and a 5.8k gold lead. Both sides have since played six games and won four, both losing only to Pentanet.gg and Dire Wolves.

One thing to take away from Chiefs Esports Club’s performances this season is that they either completely dominate their opponents or lose very badly; there seems to be in-between with this squad. PEACE are very different in that they rarely pick up commanding wins, but they also rarely lose with huge margins.

Due to their 50/50 playstyle and the fact that they are comparable with PEACE quality-wise, Chiefs should have a legitimate chance to win here. The only thing that slightly concerns us is Matthew Lionel “Mboma” Desa’s champions pool, which doesn’t include meta ADC champions such as Kai’sa and Jinx. That said, he has a good vacuum pick into meta ADCs in Hemierdinger, which he can use to shut down PEACE’s main win condition.

RENEGADES vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB ESL ONE COLOGNE 2020 BETTING PREVIEW

The Oceanic sector of ESL One Cologne 2020 Online will kick off this Tuesday with a clash between two regional rivals in Renegades and Chiefs Esports Club.

After losing their entire roster to 100 Thieves in October 2019, Renegades needed only a few months to rebuild and solidify themselves as one of the strongest Australian CS:GO organisations. While the current version of the team is not nearly as good as the previous one, Chris “dexter” Nong and co. deserve a lot of praise for their firm hold of the no.2 spot in the regional rankings.

Looking back at what Renegades have achieved throughout 2020, it’s hard to not be impressed. They started the year by qualifying for the Intel Extreme Masters XIV World Championship, where they later finished 13th-16. At the end of January, they made it to the grand finals of DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020.

Since then, Renegades have won every single tournament they’ve attended: DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Oceania, Asia Minor Championship Rio 2020 Oceanic Closed Qualifier, ESL One Road to Rio Oceania, and DreamHack Open Summer 2020 Oceania. That form comes as part of a 17-2 run after crashing out of IEM Katowice.

There was a time when Chiefs ESC were a force to be reckoned with, both on their home soil and internationally, but those days are long gone. They have gone through quite a few roster changes in recent times, albeit with far less success than Renegades.

The most recent personnel change happened only a couple of weeks ago when Hugh “HUGHMUNGUS” Anderson left for Avant Gaming, leaving Chiefs with a roster consisting of Tom “apocdud” Henry, Charlie “zeph” Dodd, Ju-young “soju_j” Jeong, Chris “ofnu” Hanley and a relative unknown in Declan “Vexite” Portelli.

Even though that looks fairly solid on paper, Chiefs are not performing at the level you would expect of them. Their only notable accomplishments this season are third place at ESL One Road to Rio in May and fourth at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 a month later.

Most recently, Chiefs took a swing at ESEA Season 34 Premier Division Australia, where they had to settle for seventh-eighth place after they were forced to forfeit their game against TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE due to an incomplete roster. Despite that, Chiefs are 9-3 in their last 12 games, although they have not played any tough fixtures outside of their losses to Avant and ORDER.

RENEGADES vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB ESL ONE COLOGNE 2020 BETTING PREDICTIONS

The CS:GO betting odds for this match paint a clear picture of how this game will go. Renegades are undoubtedly one of the top dogs in own region, while Chiefs Esports Club are a shadow of their former selves.

There is always a chance we might see an upset, but there are many things that would suggest otherwise. Besides the mismatch in form and quality, Chiefs have not played for over a month and will field coach Yaman “yam” Ergenekon instead of ofnu in this clash.

All signs point to a clean sweep for Renegades. If you can get your hands on odds higher than -250, load up on the favourites to cover the -1.5 line.

PENTANET.GG vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREVIEW

Pentanet.GG and Chiefs Esports Club will meet yet again on Friday in the second round of playoffs in League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL) Split 2.

Chiefs fans can’t be too excited about their team’s performance through the 2020 season. Having bowed out in the OPL Split 1 semi-finals, this term they fell to tied-fourth with a 12-9 record. That marks Chiefs’ worst win-loss tally since the Oceanic Pro League transitioned to a triple round-robin format at the start of 2019, and their worst-ever finish in a regular season.

Despite all that, Chiefs entered the playoffs as one of the favourites to reach the finals. For that to happen, however, the four-time OPL champions will need more from their key players in mid laner Brandon “Claire” Nguyen and ADC Robert “Katsurii” Gouv.

While Claire’s 4.4 KDA, 8.3 CSPM, and +85 GD @15 suggest he’s had a decent split, those marks are well below expectations for one of the most talented players in the region. And although Katsurii’s 5.5 KDA and 8.2 CSPM look solid, his league-worst figures of GD @ 15 (-81), CSD @ 15 (-12) and XPD @ 15 (-185) highlight his vulnerability in the laning phase.

Hoping to stop Chiefs in their tracks will be Pentanet.GG, who entered the 2020 season as one of the most exciting teams in the OPL due to the arrival of Jackson “Pabu” Pavone and ADC Mark “Praedyth” Lewis. Both players have performed well so far, averaging 4.2 and 4.6 KDAs respectively, while their teammates have also delivered the goods.

Support Jake “Rogue” Sharwood ended the split with the second-highest KDA (4.8) in his role and the highest WPM (1.57) out of all players in the league, playing a pivotal role in Pentanet.GG’s superb vision control. Brandon “BioPanther” Alexander had the highest marks out of all top laners (4.3 KDA), while mid laner Jarod “Getback” Tucker showcased just how potent his Kassadin pocket pick (100% win rate, 23.0 KDA) can be.

Those strong individual efforts helped Pentanet.GG claim third place with a 13-8 record and 62% win rate. However, they have a few questions to answer after their humiliating 1-3 loss to ORDER in the first round of the playoffs.

As the final score would suggest, the match was fairly one-sided even though Pentanet.GG won the opening map convincingly. They fell apart in the remaining three games and looked surprisingly bad in the final bout, which they lost in just 25:34 with a -12.3k gold deficit.

PENTANET.GG vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREDICTIONS

Chiefs ESC have made it to the OPL grand finals in eight of the competition’s 11 splits to date, so it makes sense to expect another deep run this term. Having said that, they don’t look anywhere near as solid this year as they have in the past.

Claire is not playing at the level expected of him. While the Chiefs mid laner’s numbers are better than those of Getback, the difference is marginal. Also, Pabu has been statistically a better jungler than Park “Croc” Jong-hoon, so things could get a bit scrappy for Chiefs in that matchup. Even the top lane looks to be ever so slightly in favour of Pentanet.GG, while Katsurii’s strong showing against Dire Wolves suggests Chiefs have a slight edge in the bottom lane.

When it comes to individual quality and objective control, these sides look equally matched. Chiefs are a little more aggressive than Pentanet.GG, who tend to focus more on scaling and the late-game, but there is not a lot to separate the two.

This match will likely come down to which team can execute their drafts better, so there is no point in siding with the favourites. Chiefs are not nearly as likely to win as the odds would suggest, making Pentanet.GG the far more appealing option in the head-to-head betting.

CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB vs DIRE WOLVES OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREVIEW

Dire Wolves and Chiefs Esports Club, two of the most successful teams in the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL), are scheduled to meet on the Summoner’s Rift this Friday during the seventh week of OPL Split 2.

After making it to the grand finals of OPL Split 1, a lot of expectations were put on Dire Wolves ahead of Split 2, however, they failed to impress during the opening week, when they lost to Legacy Esports and Avant. Further down the line, Dire Wolves picked up another defeat against Chiefs Esports Club during the third week of the split and lost their rematch with Legacy at the end of June.

On a more positive note, those are also the only four losses Dire Wolves have suffered thus far, meaning they are holding onto a respectable 8-4 record, one win behind the league frontrunners Legacy Esports.

Last week, the Wolfpack defeated Pentanet.GG and Gravitas, both in a rather convincing fashion. Against Gravitas, Dire Wolves picked up 21 kills to eight and nine turrets to one, while they also claimed four drakes and one Baron as opposed to Gravitas who did not manage to take down any neutral objectives. Much of the same happened against Pentanet.gg, who managed only four kills, three turrets and two drakes against Dire Wolves, who ended the game with 16 kills, 11 turrets, three drakes and one Baron.

Despite their early struggles, Dire Wolves managed to regain some stability and now look like a well-rounded team. They pride themselves with above-average numbers in all three elements of the game – farming, aggressiveness, and vision control. Wolfpack’s biggest strength, however, is their strong objective control, which in most part is thanks to strong performances of mid laner Ari “Shok” Greene-Young and ADC Ha “Vital” In-seong.

On the other side of the Rift, we will see Chiefs Esports Club, who have found themselves in an unenviable position following their losses to ORDER and MAMMOTH last week. Although Chiefs are still in the race for the playoffs berth, their 7-5 record is not what you would expect to see from the four-time OPL champions.

Ahead of the second split of the season, Chiefs were regarded as the team who would rival Legacy Esports for the title, and while they had an excellent opportunity to catch up to the reigning OPL champions following Legacy’s stumble against ORDER, MAMMOTH and Pentanet.gg, Brandon “Claire” Nguyen and co. failed to deliver and now sit tied-fourth with Pentanet.gg.

Looking back at their loss to ORDER, Chiefs underperformed across the board. They managed only 10 kills, three turrets, two drakes and a Baron, while ORDER picked up 28 kills, 10 turrets and five drakes. Somehow Chiefs managed to look even worse against MAMMOTH last Saturday, ending the game with only eight kills and two turrets while MAMMOTH picked up 25 kills, eight turrets, four drakes and a Baron.

Mid-season slumps are nothing out of the ordinary so perhaps it’s not fair to criticise Chiefs too much for their iffy displays, but at the same time, it’s difficult to be overly optimistic about Chief’s chances to go 2-0 this week, since they need to face both of the last split’s finalists one after the other.

CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB vs DIRE WOLVES OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREDICTIONS

Chiefs Esports Club and Dire Wolves last met on Saturday, June 20, when the former won with relative ease. They finished the game with +14 kill differential, 11 turrets to one, four drakes to one and over 10k gold lead.

Even though there is no denying Chiefs looked far better in their last bout against Dire Wolves, it seems like the esports bookmakers are putting too much emphasis on that win. Chefs are entering this match as heavy favourites and we don’t feel like the $2.06 offered on the Wolfpack does them justice.

Throughout the split, both teams have been showing similar numbers and while Chiefs tend to be more aggressive, Dire Wolves have better objective control, which is arguably far more valuable, especially if we take into account both teams usually play longer games (+32 min).

Both Chiefs and Dire Wolves field some of the biggest Oceanic LoL talents, so it’s hard to expect anything less than a close affair, but considering how shaky Chiefs have been performing last week, we will gladly take our chances with the underdogs here.

ORDER and Avant Gaming will meet for the ninth time this year when they lock horns at the Oceanic DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 tournament this Wednesday.

ORDER enter the event with an impressive 81.25 per cent win rate over the past three months. Notable results in that time include runner-up finishes at the Asia Minor Championship – Rio 2020: Oceanic Closed Qualifier, ESL ANZ Champs Season 10 and ESL One: Road to Rio – Oceania, as well as the ESEA Season 33: Premier Division – Australia title.

ORDER are also currently competing at ESEA Season 34: Premier Division – Australia, where they hold a perfect 10-0 series record and 163-68 map record. In that run they have picked up wins against some of the strongest Australian CS:GO esports teams, including Chiefs ESC (16-7), Avant (16-11), Rooster (19-16) and Ground Zero (16-4).

Although they lost Jordan “Hatz” Bajic to Renegades in January and in-game leader Chris “emagine” Rowlands to retirement in February, ORDER have not taken long to rebuild their roster as one of the strongest in the region. Since the arrival of Jireh “J1rah” Youakim from Avant at the start of March, ORDER have lost only six games out of 32 played – a remarkable run by anybody’s measure.

Even those losses came against Renegades and Avant, each beating ORDER three times. While tucks and his team have yet to defeat Renegades, they got their revenge against Avant three times, levelling their head-to-head record at 3-3.

Avant’s most recent roster changes came in January, when they signed Chris “ofnu” Hanley and Peter “BL1TZ” Athanasatos from Chiefs as replacements for Ju-young “soju_j” Jeong and J1rah. The duo teamed up with core members Euan “sterling” Moore, Jared “HaZR” O’Bree and Mike “apoc” Aliferis, who all joined the Australian esports organisation in May 2019.

With the new roster, Avant finished fourth at the Intel Extreme Masters XIV – World Championship: Oceanic Qualifier, fifth-sixth at the Asia Minor Championship – Rio 2020: Oceanic Closed Qualifier, second at ESEA Season 33: Premier Division – Australia, as well as first at ESL ANZ Champs Season 10 and DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Oceanic Qualifier.

Looking at their last 10 fixtures, Avant lost to ORDER (11-16), Paradox Gaming (1-2) and Incept eSport (14-16), while their record from the past three months shows a very solid 76.7 per cent win rate.

ORDER vs AVANT GAMING DREAMHACK MASTERS SPRING 2020: OCEANIA BETTING PREDICTIONS

These teams last met in the ESEA Season 34: Premier Division – Australia: Regular Season, where ORDER came away with a commanding 16-11 win on Nuke.

Although Avant managed to keep up the pace with ORDER throughout the first half of that game, they won only three rounds out of the remaining 12 rounds on T-side. The main culprits for their subpar performance were sterling, HaZR and ofnu, who averaged 0.66, 0.82 and 0.83 ratings respectively.

Those three have shown improvement since then, averaging 1.02, 1.32 and 1.48 ratings respectively. They have faced mostly weaker teams, however, so we have to take those figures with a grain of salt.

The betting odds show Avant as the favourites, but they should be the other way around. ORDER’s performances in the last couple of weeks have been far more reliable, while they also hold a slightly better map record than Avant.

RENEGADES vs CHIEFS ESC DREAMHACK MASTERS SPRING 2020: OCEANIA BETTING PREVIEW

Renegades and Chiefs Esports Club will meet this week in the opening round of the Oceanic DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 tournament, which features four Australian CS:GO esports teams competing for the lion’s share of US $20,000 and 315 ESL Pro Tour Circuit points.

Chiefs ESC have gone through a complete roster rebuild this year. They signed a new coach, Yaman “yam” Ergenekon, in April, while Charlie “zeph” Dodd, Jay “soju_j” Jeong and Declan “Vexite” Portelli joined the playing squad last week.

The average player age of the new-look roster is only 19.6, so Chiefs are evidently building for the future. That investment in youth has come at a cost, however, as their recent play has lacked in stability and quality.

In their last 10 fixtures, Chiefs defeated Ground Zero Gaming (2-0) and Team Skyfire (16-7), picked up a forfeit win against FURY and took down three amateur rosters in Esea open (16-13), R!OT Gaming (16-9) and Rooster (16-7). On the other hand, they lost to ORDER twice, went down to Renegades and were upstaged by an amateur roster, Adult apes.

That adds up to five wins out of nine games played, the majority of which came against significantly weaker sides. When faced against stronger opposition, however, Chiefs lost in convincing fashion.

Renegades’ current roster is not nearly as strong as their previous one, which ended up joining 100 Thieves in October, but that’s not to say this team is weak.

Since Renegades acquired Chris “dexter” Nong, Liam “malta” Schembri, Simon “Sico” Williams, Joshua “INS” Potter and Oliver “DickStacy” Tierney from Grayhound Gaming in December, their only roster change came when DickStacy left the team and Jordan “Hatz” Bajic signed on in January.

Since the arrival of Hatz, Renegades have put up a few solid results in their competitive endeavours. In January, they won the Intel Extreme Masters XIV – World Championship: Oceanic Qualifier and finished second at DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020. Although Renegades finished last at IEM Katowice in February, the Australians bounced back with a successful run through the Asia Minor Championship – Rio 2020: Oceanic Closed Qualifier and claimed the ESL One: Road to Rio – Oceania title.

Renegades are firmly established as the second-best Australian CS:GO team, behind only 100 Thieves. Dexter and co. sit 39th in the CS:GO global rankings, but they could be a lot higher if they had played more games over the past month.

Throughout May, Renegades played only five competitive matches and won all of them. That run includes their clashes with ORDER (2-0), Ground Zero (2-0), Chiefs (2-0) and ORDER again (2-1) at the ESL One: Road to Rio, as well as their recent win over run it back bruv (2-0) at ESL ANZ Champs Season 11.

RENEGADES vs CHIEFS ESC DREAMHACK MASTERS SPRING 2020: OCEANIA BETTING PREDICTIONS

In terms of raw quality, Renegades are a far better team than Chiefs Esports Club. The underdogs have the potential to grow, but that is about all they have right now.

That Chiefs have struggled against amateur rosters is deeply concerning. What’s more, their new core lineup has played only three competitive matches together, so communication is likely still a problem in this team.

The only thing working in Chiefs’ favour is the online format and the lack of recent game time for both sides. While there is a chance Renegades will be a bit rusty, that is not enough reason to take a chance on Chiefs.

The odds on Renegades are not high and there’s a good reason for that. Nevertheless, the -196.08 on the favourites to win in a clean sweep is well worth considering.

TEAM SKYFIRE vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB ESEA SEASON 34: PREMIER DIVISION – AUSTRALIA BETTING PREVIEW

Team Skyfire are slated to meet the new-look Chiefs Esports Club this Thursday in the fourth matchweek of ESEA Season 34: Premier Division – Australia.

Chiefs have been in full rebuild mode since February, when they released their old lineup and signed the entire Genuine Gaming squad. That project came to nothing, however, as the Australian esports organisation decided to part ways with Jordan “SkulL” Newland, Daryl “Mayker” May and Chris “Junxx Moseley last Friday.

Chiefs have since added Jay “soju-j” Jeong and Charlie “zeph” Dodd to the roster alongside Tom “apocdud” Henry and Hugh “HUGHMUNGUS” Anderson. As they have yet to sign a fifth player, head coach Yaman “yam” Ergenekon acted as a stand-in for Tuesday’s 16-7 victory over Rooster.

Apocdud was the player to watch in that match, as he finished with an impressive 1.60 rating. Not far behind was zeph on 1.47, Yam and soju_j both secured 1.26 ratings, while HUGHMUNGUS recorded a respectable 1.14.

Team Skyfire enter this bout sitting 11th in the ESEA S34: Premier Division – Australia standings with a 3-2 record. Alec “Noisia” Gulabovski and his crew defeated Mako (16-12), Justice (16-6) and Overt (16-14), but they fell short against PC419 (14-16) and TRUCKERS (7-16).

Like Chiefs, Skyfire rebuilt their roster not too long ago. At the start of the month, they acquired Noisia, Mohammed “MoeycQ” Tizani, Mehmet “tot” Kayf and Colter “Dirty” Barstad from i sleep. Their latest addition came on Thursday, when Skyfire signed former Paradox Gaming player Edward “Chub” Lee.

Skyfire have played four games since Chub’s arrival, all of them at ESL ANZ Champs Season 11: Open Qualifier #2. There, they defeated Blessed Esports (19-16), Overt (16-10) and run it back bruv (2-0) en route to the grand finals, where bruv had their revenge with a 2-1 victory.

TEAM SKYFIRE vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB ESEA SEASON 34: PREMIER DIVISION – AUSTRALIA BETTING PREDICTIONS

Looking at raw statistics, Team Skyfire are in a better vein of form and sit higher in the CS:GO esports global rankings. Yet they enter this bout as massive underdogs, and there is a reasonable explanation for that.

For although Chiefs have an incomplete squad with no runs on the board, they are still the stronger team. Yam alone is more experienced than the whole Skyfire roster, while the impressive showing from apocdud and co. against Rooster on Tuesday suggests they will have no issues with Skyfire.

Online fixtures can be difficult to predict, but there is no reason to expect an upset here. Chiefs will need some time to gel and reach their full potential, but they should win this fixture with ease.
