]]>As we predicted, EHOME and Forward Gaming are the bottom two in Group C and will now play to determine who drops to the Lower Bracket in DreamLeague Season 11.
EHOME have two new members – End and XinQ – and both performed better than expected against Mineski.
The team drafted well in game one, picking three pushers in Shadow Shaman, Warlock and Lycan.

Although Mineski took over the game, the choice of heroes was not to blame. They just need to be more patient and keep the Lycan as the last pick in future, because Mineski immediately picked Sven to counter that.

In game two, EHOME drafted Timbersaw and Luna as their core. These picks were inspired because Timbersaw was too tanky for Mineski to break through and Lunar Blessing, the passive skill of Luna, provided 24 strength to her partner and increased his maximum health by 20.
Although Mineski drafted Magnus and Phantom Assassin, they had no way to pierce through the defense of Timbersaw because he had high armour and high health points.
In game three, however, EHOME drafted badly. They picked Shadow Fiend last after Mineski revealed their carry was Morphing. They should instead have picked some carries that can deal higher damage per second.
EHOME are drafting nicely overall, but their synergy is not there yet.
Forward Gaming didn’t draft Lone Druid because Virtus Pro banned him in the first banning phase in game one and game two. They had the chance to draft him in game three, but they passed.
The interesting part about these two teams is that both of them picked Timbersaw and won the game, while they both lost the game when they drafted Shadow Fiend.
After seeing their drafts in the first round of group games, we give EHOME a 60% chance of success in this match-up.

]]>Virtus Pro, the top tier team in the CIS region, will battle Forward Gaming in a best-of-three series for their opening match in Group C of DreamLeague Season 11.
Like Team Secret, Virtus are competing only for the prize pool because they have already booked passage to The International.

They performed as expected at MDL Macau last time out, finishing in the top three after losing to Evil Geniuses in the Lower Bracket finals.

Virtus picked Invoker in games two and game three in that tie and suffered the consequences, as the hero needed too much space to farm.
Forward Gaming have stuck with the same members since September 2018 and have everything they need to compete with other teams in the top tier of Dota 2 esports.
Universe is one of the most stable off-laners in the game because he never goes for the big plays.
Resolution is also a treasure for the franchise, especially in recent patches because he plays a lot of heroes that require high micro-management skills such as Visage and Lone Druid.
Even though Virtus Pro don’t need the Dota Pro Circuit points, we give them a 70% chance to win this match-up in straight sets.
Back them in for a 2-0 victory at -158.73 odds with BetOnline.

]]>They are, without a shadow of a doubt, the strongest team in Group C at the DreamLeague Stockholm Major.
EHOME have performed well since Faith_bian and EGO joined the team, accumulating 900 DPC points from the Chongqing Major and climbing to eighth in the Dota Pro Circuit standings.
However, they were only able to retain 80 per cent of their points after releasing EGO in February and bringing in END to play at position one.
The bad news did not stop there, as Faith_bian left the team earlier this month.

EHOME now have XinQ (on loan from Team Serenity) at position three and have to build their squad synergy all over again.
Mineski qualified from Southeast Asia and have yet to join any event by earning DPC points in season 2018-19.
Although considered one of the strongest teams in the SEA region, they have a long way to go before they can match it with the best on the global stage.
Forward Gaming have gained only 225 DPC points this season despite playing both the Kuala Lumpur Major and the Chongqing Major.
They were disappointing in both tournaments, placing 13-16th in Chongqing and 9th-12th in KL, and have made no improvements since finalising their squad in September last year.
+400 – Virtus Pro
+2000 – EHOME
+3300 – Forward Gaming
+3300 – Mineski
Virtus Pro are the team to beat, while Mineski have a decent chance to take the second slot because EHOME’s latest squad is less than two weeks old and untested in professional play. If EHOME gel well enough, Forward Gaming will finish bottom of the group.
