The post LoL Iberian Cup 2021 betting picks – Axolotl vs Vodafone Giants.Spain appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>?The PG Nationals 2021 semi-finalists Axoltl will clash with the SuperLiga (SL) summer champions, Vodafone Giants.Spain, in the quarter-finals of the Iberian Cup on Thursday, November 4. As the recent LoL betting odds imply, this should be a very one-sided affair, and there is not much that would suggest otherwise.
Axlotl have done reasonably well this tournament; however, they have only won against eMonkeyz (1-0), Astralis B (1-0), and Team Questo (2-1), which are some of the weakest Spanish LoL teams.
Vodafone Giants have achieved far more over the year and are one of the favourites to go all the way; however, they haven’t played a single official match in nearly two months. While we don’t believe Axoltl are good enough to win this bout under normal circumstances, we also don’t see how the ring-rusty Giants can walk away with a clean sweep.
There’s a good chance that Axoltl win one map, but we wouldn’t trust them to go beyond that.

]]>The post LoL Iberian Cup 2021 betting picks – MAD Lions vs Macko Esports appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>?The LoL betting odds offered on this Iberian Cup quarter-final seem to be based on each region’s perceived strength; Macko Esports are the strongest squad from Italy, while MAD Lions Madrid are hardly more than a top-four team from Spain. Still, you can’t deny that MAD Lions have some solid pieces, namely ADC Victor “Flakked” Lirola, who is due to get his chance in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC).
The problem with MAD Lions is that while Flakked is an excellent player, he is also the team’s main win condition, meaning that shutting him down usually results in MAD Lions crumbling. Macko’s ADC Riccardo “Rharesh” Tata will have a challenging task trying to match Flakked in-lane, but realistically, he doesn’t need to win the lane to help Macko win.
The current meta is hardly focused on the bottom lane, but instead on a strong mid-jungle synergy and solid top side. And those are areas where Macko should be able to match with MAD Lions with Stass “StenBosse” Skopin in the top lane and Casper “Cboi” Bo Simonsen in the jungle.
MAD Lions Madrid should be favoured, but they shouldn’t be priced at -188.68. It’s also worth noting that Macko average a higher Early Game Rating (EGR) than MAD Lions (58.0 – 55.9) and are more efficient in the late game with a 3.7 Mid-Late Game Rating (MLR) to MAD Lions’ -4.6 MLR.
It could be a close one, but the odds on Macko Esports are too good to pass on.

NATUS VINCERE vs MAD LIONS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

CS:GO Betting Odds: | NaVi -370.37 at BetOnline | MAD +254 at BetOnline |

These teams will cash on Saturday for the first time since June, when Natus Vincere eliminated MAD Lions from DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe. Not much has changed in the balance of the matchup over the past five months, and we would even go so far as to say NaVi are much heavier favourites this time out.
MAD have looked weaker since they parted ways with Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen. Also, they have competed mostly in B-Tier tournaments of late – most recently at Nine to Five #5, where they lost to Wisla Krakow (1-2). NaVi, meanwhile, attended the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Regular Season, where they defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas twice but lost both of their bouts with OG.
NaVi have been looking much sharper, but the Ukrainian squad are known for their iffy showings in the early stages of any tournament they attend. This should give MAD a good shot at winning at least one map.
COMPLEXITY GAMING vs FNATIC CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Two weeks ago, Complexity Gaming signed ex-100 Thieves player Justin “jks” Savage as a replacement for Owen “oBo” Schlatter. They have played three games since then, defeating FaZe Clan (0-2) but losing to Team Vitality (1-2) and BIG (0-2).
Fnatic are on a three-game losing streak that includes losses to Astralis (1-2), NiP (1-2) and BIG (0-2). They did, however, sweep Complexity (2-0) at the start of October and later defeated OG twice, which is a promising sign even though Fnatic have not played an official match in two weeks.
There are arguments to be made in favour of Complexity, but they have not shown enough for us to believe they should be priced at only -153.85. Fnatic might not be in the best form, but they look overpriced here.

These teams last met in July during the LVP SuperLiga Orange (SLO) 2020 Summer regular season. There, S2V secured a shock win thanks to a strong performance in the bottom lane from ADC Nicolás “Nixerino” Canellas Colocho and support Adrián “Homi” Moldes López, who got their hands on Yuumi-Twitch combo.
Giants are heavy favourites at most League of Legends betting sites, but it’s hard to believe they will secure a 3-0 victory. Giants have been slacking for the past month and seem very susceptible to dropping at least one map.
If S2V manage to shut down Giants’ bottom lane and enable their capable mid-laner, Sergi “Lvsyan” Madrigal Gómez, they might force a very tight bout, but we will play it safe and settle for the +2.5 handicap.

Lim “Larva” Hong Gyu and Lee “Flash” Young Ho will clash this Saturday in the AfreecaTV Starleague Season 10 third-place decider. It will mark their first meeting since KCM Race Survival 2020 Season 3, where Flash defeated Larva twice.
Flash is up 5-0 in head-to-head with Larva, so it’s not shocking to see him priced as the favourite. Still, Larva has improved drastically in recent months and left quite a statement with his dominant performance against Kim “Soulkey” Min Chul in the quarters.
Widely feared by many top names in the StarCraft II esports scene for his ability to cause upsets, Larva is not to be ignored – even though he lost badly to Kim “ZerO” Myung Woon on Monday. Larva is also known for his all-in playstyle, which can be tough to combat and could earn him win if he can overcome Flash’s midgames.

Team Vitality enter IEM Beijing straight after securing the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Regular Season title, where they defeated Complexity Gaming (2-1) and BIG (2-0 and 2-1). Team Spirit pocketed a bronze medal at IEM New York, although that feat should be taken with a grain of salt since they lost their semi-final bout with Nemiga Gaming (0-2) and picked up a forfeit win against Natus Vincere in the third-place decider.
These teams last met in September during ESL Pro League Season 12, where Vitality won 2-1. We expect the same outcome, but with a more dominant performance from the French side.
FAZE CLAN vs OG CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

FaZe Clan last week parted ways with their star player and in-game leader Nikola “NiKo” Kova?, who joined his cousin Nemanja “huNter-” Kova? at G2 Esports. Since NiKo’s departure, FaZe have played two games against BIG and Complexity and lost both. Even before that, FaZe showed lack of form with losses against Ninjas in Pyjamas (0-2) and GODSENT (1-2), which does not inspire much confidence ahead of their bout with the surging OG.
OG are on a four-game winning streak that includes wins against Evil Geniuses (2-1) and Natus Vincere (2-0 and 2-1). Although they lost to FaZe last month (0-3), OG should grab an easy revenge win here if they show even half of what they did against EG and NaVi.
G2 ARCTIC vs TEAM QUESTO LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Unlike G2 Arctic, who claimed a silver medal from the SuperLiga Orange (SLO), Team Questo have failed to establish themselves as one of the top names in the Spanish LoL league. Although they deserve some praise for their solid run through the LVP SLO Summer regular season – which they finished in fourth place – Questo were still far below G2 Arctic, Vodafone Giants and Movistar Riders.
G2 Arctic have met with Questo twice this split and won both fixtures quite convincingly. Adding to that, Questo parted ways with their ADC Michael “Rayito” Curtet in September and replaced him with André “Afm” Martins, which seems more like a downgrade rather than anything else.
TEAM HERETICS vs APOLOGIS ESPORTS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

As the betting odds suggest, Heretics are a far stronger team than APOLOGIS Esports, even though they lost Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom to Team Vitality last month. That is mainly because Heretics compete at a much higher level than their compatriots and usually do well against weaker teams.
Heretics saw some success during the recent Nine to Five #5 and other B-Tier competitions, while APOLOGIS have struggled against teams of similar quality and lost badly to Heretics (2-16) in September. Expect a complete blowout.
THE DICE vs TEAM LDLC CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

The second semi-final at ESL Championnat National Winter 2020 will feature The Dice and LDLC, who met last Tuesday during the final round of the group stage. Those bouts ended with 16-10 and 16-14 in favour of The Dice, who ended the regular season in second place with 12-2 record, while LDLC had to settle for third with 9-5.
Even though LDLC are a far more established team, their form of late is rather shocking. They have won only one match in the last nine, and even that came against a semi-amateur team in Project X (16-6). Meanwhile, The Dice are on an 8-1 run, only losing to KOVA (12-16) on Tuesday.
Despite all that, the odds offered on The Dice are shockingly high, which makes our decision that much easier.

For The Win Esports (+110) and Team Questo (-151.52) will open the quarter-finals with a highly anticipated fixture between two sides who have not met before.
FTW finished the group stage with a 2-1 record, which they earned by defeating Movistar Riders and S2V Esports. Unfortunately for them, the Portuguese side missed the mark against Vodafone Giants Academy.
Team Questo fell flat against the Vodafone Giants first team on the last day of the opening round, but wins over Electronik Generation and x6tence were enough to see them progress from Group C.
All we have to rank these teams by is their performance in the group stage, in which case we have to side with Team Questo. George “SpeeDy” Daniel Savu and Michael “Rayito” Curtet performed well throughout the group stage, so Questo’s should have this one in the bag if those maintain that tempo.
Prediction: Team Questo to win – -151.52 at BetOnline
Wednesday, November 20
The bout between MAD Lions (-454.55) and G2 Heretics (+300) is expected to be a one-side affair.
MAD Lions enter the knockout stage red hot after a dominant run in Group D, where they did not drop a single match. A lot of their success is due to the incredible form of Lucjan “Shlatan” Ahmad, who has died only once throughout the tournament. His skill is impeccable and his KDA (38.00) is miles above any other player.
While we praise Shlatan, the whole Lions team is playing exceptionally well. From the looks of it, they are serious contenders for the title.
Heretic would have a chance of making something happen if this was a best-of-one (Bo1) clash, but in a Bo3, we can’t expect any surprises.
Prediction: MAD Lions -1.5 – -120.48 at BetOnline
Thursday, November 21
Day two of the Iberian Cup quarter-finals will begin with a clash between two LVP SLO squads in S2V Esports (-120.48) and eMonkeyz (-120.48), who have met four times throughout 2019 season for two wins apiece.
S2V mid-laner Sergio “FeeNiixZ” García had a great run in the group stage, proving once more why his team made the right decision bringing him back into the starting lineup. He averaged 2.33 kills per game, 9.18 CSPM, and holds the fourth-best KDA in the tournament (11.00).
EMonkeyz will count on óscar “RNATION” Calvo to deliver. He is an extremely aggressive ADC who will enter the knockout stage with the highest kill per game average (8.33) out of all players. He is also the sixth-most efficient farmer with 9.23 CSPM.
This one is bound to be close, but we believe eMonkeyz’s advantage in the bottom lane will tip the scales in their favour. RNATION has proved he is one of the best ADCs of the tournament and if he can get his hands on Xayah, eMonkeyz should have a fairly easy time of it.
Prediction: eMonkeyz to win – -120.48 at BetOnline
Thursday, November 21
The last fixture of the day will see Vodafone Giants (-250) take on Origen BCN (+175) in a must-see matchup between two of the main candidates to claim the Iberian Cup.
Giants will enter this fixture as heavy favourites, having defeated Origen five times in their eight meetings this season. Their most recent meeting came in the LVP SLO Summer finals, where Giants won 3-2 to claim the title.
That said, Origen have looked very strong this tournament. Their only loss in Group D came against the in-form MAD Lions, so we feel like the quarter-final odds provided by esports bookmakers don’t do them justice.
The win condition for Origen will be their bottom lane, which puts a lot of pressure on Adrián “Homi” Moldes López and Alexander “Venzer” Kostadinov to deliver. The Origen duo are a force to be reckoned with and if they can keep up the tempo, we would not be surprised to see an upset here.
Prediction: Origen BCN +1.5 – -175.44 at BetOnline

The clash between eMonkeyz (-666.67) and Arctic Gaming (+348) is expected to be a one-sided affair.
In week one, eMonkeyz defeated K1CK eSports Club with their aggressive playstyle as they grabbed an early lead and established a dominant position by the time the mid-game rolled around. óscar “RNATION” Calvo was phenomenal on Xayah, while Ibrahin “Freshx” López Sanchez made his opponents uneasy with constant pressure from the jungle.
Arctic Gaming struggled in week one, as they had to admit defeat to LVP SLO third seed G2 Heretics. Much of the blame for that loss falls at the feet of Víctor “Vixzy” Solanas and Dimitris “Von” Bakiris, who both severely underperformed.
This will be a best-of-one (Bo1) fixture, which leaves a possibility for an upset wide open. However, Arctic Gaming are a new team and have played only one official match together, so their quality is unknown and their synergy is lacking.
With that in mind, we will side with eMonkeyz to claim their second win.
Prediction: eMonkeyz to win – -666.67 at BetOnline
Tuesday, November 12 – 19:00 CET
If the majority of esports betting sites are to be believed, the clash between x6tence (-102.04) and Team Queso (-140.85) should be a close one.
X6tence lost their opening match of the group stage against a well-known opponent in Vodafone Giants, the first seed from LVP SLO. While the outcome was expected, x6tence produced a solid fight and showed a lot of heart despite falling behind early.
Team Queso defeated Electronik Generation in dominant fashion thanks to a solid all-round display from all five members. ángel “DuaLL” Fernández and George Daniel “SpeeDy” Savu played a crucial role in their team’s success with their standout performances.
These teams met twice in the recent LVP SLO Summer campaign, where x6tence came out ahead on both occasions. While x6tence’s form has dropped a little since then, they showed enough quality in week one to suggest they can defeat TQ once again.
Prediction: x6tence to win – -102.04 at BetOnline
Tuesday, November 12 – 20:00 CET
The clash between UCAM Penguins (-526.32) and Hexagone Esports (+298) pits the two bottom teams from Group D against one another.
While both sides will feel the pressure in this make-or-break affair, it is hard to see Hexagone getting the win they need.
As seen from their performance in week one, UCAM are a far superior team in all aspects. While they did fall apart in the later stages of the game against Origen, they should be more than capable of defeating Hexagone.
Prediction: UCAM Penguins to win – -526.32 at BetOnline
Tuesday, November 12 – 21:00 CET
Out of all fixtures played on Tuesday, the bout between Movistar Riders (-121.95) and S2V Esports (-117.65) promises to be the closest and the most exciting of all.
MSR finished as the fifth seed in LVP SLO, while S2V ended up tied for last with Team Queso. That said, the teams won a game each in two meetings throughout the summer split, which was also the case in the spring split.
While the two teams appear evenly matched, we have to side with S2V. They produced much more in week one compared to poor display from MSR in their loss to For The Win Esports.
This is a Bo1, so anything can happen, but S2V should have the edge.
Prediction: S2V Esports to win – -117.65 at BetOnline
