The post LEC 2024 Season Finals betting picks – Fnatic v Team BDS appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>Fnatic and Team BDS will meet on Saturday, August 10, in the opening round of the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2024 Season Finals. Team BDS won when these teams last clashed, but according to LoL betting odds, they are unlikely to emulate that success.
This is not surprising, considering how good Fnatic looked during the LEC 2024 Summer Playoffs — despite losing against G2 Esports in the finals. Team BDS also made a deep run, reaching the lower bracket finals, but like Fnatic, they proved no match for the defending champions.
Comparing the two LoL esports teams’ stats from the playoffs, Fnatic come out ahead in several metrics. They have some of the best numbers in the league, including 113 gold difference per minute, 18.2 average kills per game, and the second-highest first tower rate (61.5%), but also a +571 gold difference at 15 minutes. However, that number is a bit skewed due to how the finals played out.
Looking past the numbers, despite posting worse stats, Team BDS performed well in their playoff series and arguably should have beaten G2 Esports.
The main question here is whether Fnatic can get a substantial lead in the early game, considering Team BDS are pretty good at keeping their games close. Still, even if the underdogs can fight back, their mid-late game transition is terrible, which should enable the Black & Orange to put themselves in a favourable spot to win.
Fnatic can be a bit volatile, but they are a solid choice at -113.64, with the best LoL betting sites to win without dropping more than a map.

]]>Karmne Corp will meet with Team BDS in the third round of the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2024 Summer Playoffs on Friday, July 26. The winner will advance to face G2 Esports in the lower-bracket final and have a shot at reaching the LEC 2024 Summer finals.
Both teams won their Round 2 fixtures on map three, with Team BDS edging past GIANTX and Karmine Corp defeating SK Gaming. Neither series was pleasant to watch.
Karmine Corp seem to be peaking at the right time, although this is a generous term. They have not displayed anything promising in their last two wins; rather, they fed on MAD Lions KOIs and SK Gamings mistakes.
Team BDS were not even remotely good against GIANTX, but that is one of the few series in LEC 2024 Summer where they have not performed to expectations. As such, that game seems more like a one-off rather than an indication of Team BDSs downfall.
The last time Team BDS met with Karmine Corp, they closed as -217.39 favourites with top betting sites, and there is no reason to believe that number should be any higher in a best-of-three series. Even though Karmine Corp have won more games than expected lately, theyve shown hardly any improvement.

Team BDS started the LoL EMEA Championship 2024 Summer campaign with a perfect record. They beat Team Vitality and Team Heretics and closed out the first week of the summer split with a massive victory against G2 Esports.
Team BDS victory against G2 looks excellent on paper, but they had some very questionable moments in that game. So, while they deserve some praise, the final result was primarily thanks to G2 not playing as well as expected.
SK Gaming also had a solid start to the summer season, beating Rogue, G2 Esports, and GIANTX. But while their results look similar to Team BDS, SK Gaming showed better coordination and far more stability.
This is a clash between two European LoL teams that are serious candidates to finish the season in third place. But in the first week of play, SK Gaming showed more overall, making them an obvious pick at outsider odds.

Fnatic did what was expected of them in the first week of LEC 2024 Summer, with comfortable wins against Karmine Corp, GIANTX, and Team Vitality. In some of the fixtures, Fnatic looked a bit rough early but blew things wide open in the mid-late game.
Rogue didnt look great last week, but they still managed to pick up one win against the unconvincing Team Vitality. Yet they dont deserve much praise for that, as Rogue wouldve lost had Vitality not thrown away multiple winning positions.
Rogue are the same team we saw in the LEC 2024 Spring; theyve shown no notable improvement so far. Now theyre set to face a team that is more than capable of punishing mistakes, which should lead to a very one-sided game.

MAD Lions KOI had an atrocious showing in the first week of the split. They lost to G2 Esports, which isnt too worrying, but its hard to ignore their loss to Karmine Corp.
MAD were over 3k gold up at 20 minutes and extended that lead to over 10k gold at 30 minutes, yet they threw it away by forcing unnecessary fights. The main theme of the week was poor macro and questionable team compositions.
Team Vitality dont deserve much praise for their LEC 2024 Summer Week 1 displays either. After showing a high degree of consistency last split, Vitality seemingly returned to their old ways, doing random things on the Summoners Rift without any plans.
Both Vitality and MAD Lions KOI have a lot to prove this week, and as the offered betting odd suggest, theres no telling which side is worse. But both teams like to fight and make errors, which should result in a scrappy and bloody affair.
TEAM HERETICS vs KARMINE CORP LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Despite picking up just one win last week, Team Heretics are priced as favourites to defeat Karmine Corp with the best LoL betting sites. This doesnt have as much to do with Heretics quality as it has with Karmine Corps lacklustre showings.
Karmine Corp entered LEC 2024 Summer with much to prove after their abysmal run through LEC 2024 Spring, yet theyve proved just one thing: their macro understanding is one of the worst in the league. At least Karmine Corp have capable players, which helped them overcome Rogue and MAD Lions KOI — but even in those games, KCs success was largely due to their opponents playing worse.
Team Heretics are not as good as Fnatic, G2 Esports, or even Team BDS and SK Gaming. But theyre much stabler than Karmine Corp, who are incredibly sloppy and not a team wed trust our money with.

GIANTX enter the final split of the League of Legends season with a new top laner, Antonio “Th3Antonio” Espinosa Bejarano and jungler Lee “Juhan” Ju-han, who are exciting additions. But the main thing that will dictate how well GIANTX will do this split is whether they’ll find a way to improve their early game.
In the spring split, GIANTX were very effective in closing out games where they got ahead early C but that happened very rarely. Perhaps their new additions will fix that, giving us a reason to be cautiously optimistic about this squad.
Team Heretics didn’t make any roster changes this offseason but instead freshened up the coaching staff C which was a smart move considering, talent-wise, Heretics are in a good spot. Drafting and overall approach to games needs some work.
GIANTX and Team Heretics were flawed teams in the LEC 2024 Spring, but they’ve made changes that might help with their issues. There’s a big “what if” on both ends, making GIANTX an excellent underdog bet at the offered price.

Last month, SK Gaming announced the signing of a new bottom lane duo, Cho “Rahel” Min-seong and support Lee “Luon” Hyun-ho, who could prove to be massive additions. SK were extremely inconsistent last split and completely fell apart following a strong start. so assuming Rahel and Luon can introduce some stability, SK Gaming could fly very high.
Rogue decided to run it back for LEC 2024 Summer, which is a bizarre decision for a team that was clearly the worst in the league since the winter split. Oddly, Rogue have the talent to do well, but we could’ve made the same excuse in January, yet nothing has changed.
Rogue have to find traction, and while they may bounce back, Emil “Larssen” Larsson and his crew have to first show something.
TEAM VITALITY vs TEAM BDS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAIL |

No changes for Team Vitality ahead of LEC 2024 Summer C and that’s completely fine. Team Vitality were a strong mid-table team in the LEC 2024 Spring, showing a surprisingly high level of consistency. It was uncharacteristic for this roster, but if Vitality can keep playing like that, they might be in the race for a top-three finish.
Team BDS are another interesting team. In spring, Team BDS proved they could do well without relying too much on top laner Adam “Adam” Maanane, and yet he still played a significant role in many of BDS’ victories. Like Vitality, Team BDS just need to continue what they started, and we could be looking at another potential threat for Fnatic and G2.
At the offered moneyline odds, no side of this matchup is interesting, but the esports betting sites have overexaggerated with the total kills line.

Unsurprisingly, G2 Esports kept their entire lineup intact C as they should. G2 Esports are unquestionably the best European LoL esports team and, as proven at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024, one of the world’s strongest teams.
The only two reasons to doubt G2 Esports are questionable motivation to perform and fatigue. This might not seem too relevant, but it can play a big factor, especially with G2 Esports, who are known to mess around when nothing is on the line.
MAD Lions KOI looked great last split when they built on the early success from the LEC 2024 Winter and proved themselves as a resilient and well-coached team. While they’re still not at the same level as G2 Esports, the kill handicap line for this match is a bit too high, knowing that G2 Esports might not be ready or willing to perform at 100%.

]]>This announcement comes after Perkz’s absence from the LEC during the 2024 Spring Split, where he was benched from Team Heretics’ main roster.
In a message shared on his social media accounts, Perkz revealed his intentions to focus on his future endeavours.
He admitted that while his main drive in competitive gaming was to qualify for international events like the Mid-Season Invitational or LoL Worlds, he didn’t enjoy the process of striving toward those goals.

— Luka (@Perkz) May 2, 2024
Reports indicated that Perkz’s benching from Team Heretics stemmed from alleged conflicts within the team, including a quarrel between Perkz and his team manager.
In an interview, Alvar Araneae Martn Ale?ar, director at Team Heretics, commented on Perkzs performance, acknowledging both his shortcomings and his contributions to team morale.
Perkzs hiatus marks a significant moment in his career, prompting reflection on his past achievements and future endeavours.
Its unlikely fans will see him compete before 2025.
Perkz intends to spend his break streaming both League of Legends and VALORANT, finding enjoyment in the process of learning something new.

]]>The post Team Heretics make big roster changes before LEC Spring appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>In a detailed video announcement, the Spanish organization revealed the adjustments to their line-up for the upcoming Spring Season.
The team’s moves include signing Adrian Trymbi Trybus as the new support, replacing Norman Kaiser Kaiser, and promoting Artur Zwyroo Trojan from the academy team to take the place of the veteran mid laner Luka Perkz Perkovi?.
The decision to overhaul the roster stems from reported leadership and communication issues within the team, although previous speculation hinted at tensions between players and Heretics management.
Fans expressed dissatisfaction with the changes and criticized the organization’s reasoning behind them.
Notably, former pro League of Legends player and current streamer Marc Robert Caedrel Lamont questioned the management’s explanation, particularly regarding the replacement of Perkz with an academy player and the assertion of communication improvement.
Heretics’ leadership, including Chief Gaming Officer Arnau Vidal and League of Legends GM Alvar Araneae Martn Ale?ar, attempted to justify the moves in the video announcement.

— Team Heretics (@TeamHeretics) March 5, 2024
However, fans found the explanations peculiar and raised doubts about the foresight and decision-making process.
Despite the backlash, Heretics remains determined to improve their performance, aiming for international play at the Mid-Season Invitational and seeking to surpass their previous seventh-place finish in the Winter Split.
Following a disappointing Winter Split, Heretics is embarking on a new chapter with significant roster changes.
The coaching staff announced Perkz’s benching in favor of Zwyroo, citing a lack of improvement in team dynamics during scrims.
Additionally, Trymbi joins the team as the new support, bringing leadership and experience from his tenure with Rogue and Fnatic.
Zwyroo faces high expectations as he steps into Perkz’s shoes, tasked with not only filling a legendary player’s role but also elevating the team’s performance.
Despite his relative inexperience at the LEC level, Zwyroo is already making strides in motivating his teammates during practice sessions, according to coach Araneae.
With a blend of veteran presence and fresh talent, Heretics aims to revitalize their LEC campaign and regain momentum for the upcoming Spring Split.
Only time will tell if these changes will lead to the desired improvements and a resurgence for the Spanish organization on the competitive stage.

Karmine Corp and MAD Lions KOI not only delivered intense competition on the rift, but their owners’ influence also significantly impacted the broadcast’s success.
The French broadcast, driven by KC, achieved approximately 255,000 peak viewers, while the Spanish broadcast saw a peak viewership of 242,800.
Despite KC’s defeat, the match proved to be a win for the league in terms of viewership and engagement.
The journey of these two teams joining the LEC had been long-awaited, with both Ibai and KC expressing interest for years.
Ibai entered first with KOI, forming a partnership with Rogues parent company, while Karmine Corp secured their spot by purchasing a slot from Astralis.
After parting ways with Rogue in 2023, KOI merged with MAD Lions, continuing to compete in the league under a unified brand.
The LEC Winter Split 2024 marked their face-off, resulting in a significant viewership milestone.
Notably, Karmine Corp has been a central attraction throughout the first weekend of the LEC Winter Split, achieving remarkable peak viewership numbers.
Their match against G2 also contributed to breaking records, peaking at 644,000 viewers.
Compared to the 2023 average viewership of 271,000, the 2024 average of 400,000 represents a substantial improvement, indicating a positive trajectory for EMEA’s premier League of Legends professional league.
While Karmine Corp’s peak viewership is not yet in the all-time top ranks, sitting at 295th according to Esports Charts, their recent promotion to the LEC through an open slot is proving beneficial for the league in terms of attracting new viewers.
As the LEC Winter Split progresses and other major regions’ leagues kick off, the promising start of the 2024 season suggests potential growth and continued support throughout the year.
