The post Sangal place ScrunK and kory on inactive roster appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>According to the announcement post, kory has been released from his contract and placed on free agency. Sangal also revealed that they had benched the Counter-Strike team’s in-game leader, ScrunK, and transfer listed the player.
“As of today, Robin “ScrunK” R?pke & Kornl “kory” Szedlr has been removed from our active CS:GO roster. ScrunK has been moved to the bench and kory has been enter free agency,” Sangal wrote.
“We want to thank both of these amazing players for being part of Sangal legacy and dedication to the team. Wishing them both only the best for the future.”
With ScrunK and kory no longer a part of the active lineup, Sangal currently consists of Max “?PANIX?” Hangebruch, Can “?kyuubii?” Ali, and Caner “?Soulfly?” Kesici.
According to reports, Sangal already have players in mind to complete their lineup and will likely announce new signings in the upcoming weeks.
The news comes following Sangal’s poor performance in recent tournaments. The team, who reached a peak ranking of No. 33 towards the end of last year due to their impressive play, recently dropped past 50th place.
While Sangal notably participated in the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR, they failed to secure a Major qualification. The team also succeeded in beating BIG, the world No. 15 at the time, during the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
Sangal have been unable to produce any impressive showings since then despite numerous changes to their lineup. They recorded poor results in recent online tournaments and were unable to participate in the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMRs.
Sangal notably signed former Bad News Eagles coach Klesti”?stikle-?”Kola earlier this year to boast their performance and added ?PANIX? to their lineup. The changes resulted in minor improvements, leading to Sangal’s recent decision to part ways with ScrunK and kory.

]]>The post Turkish AWPer ?zgr “?woxic?” Eker departs Eternal Fire appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>He made this revelation on January 4 in a tweet, announcing that his contract with the franchise has come to an end. He also went on to reveal his willingness to join another team as he is keen on proving himself.
“I’ve got new objectives for 2023! My contract with Eternal Fire has come to an end. I’m now free agent and willing to find a new team,” woxic wrote.
“I have a huge thirst for victories and motivated to prove what I’m capable of again! [email protected] hit me DM.”
While the announcement of Woxic’s departure did not come as a surprise from the fans of the Turkish franchise, but many had expected him to continue with Eternal Fire for the foreseeable future.
After co-launching the franchise in August 2021 and leading the creation of the “Turkish Superteam” project, the skilled sniper spent nearly 16 months on the active roster. However, due to a series of poor performances, he decided to move himself to the bench in November, stating that he “wants to continue his career in an international team.”
Although woxic’s time with the Turkish lineup saw some successes, such as victories in online qualifiers and national leagues like the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference Play-In and ESL Turkey Championship Season 11, the team struggled to perform in LAN environments.
Eternal Fire had a disappointing run in the ESL Pro League Season 16, finishing 17th to 20th, and was eliminated in 12th to 14th place in the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR. They also made it to the semi-finals of the ESL Challenger Rotterdam, but were ultimately beaten by ENCE. These poor performances led woxic to bench himself in November 2022, as he expressed a desire to return to a team environment similar to his time with MOUZ.
Despite Eternal Fire’s struggles in tournaments, woxic consistently performed well and ended his time with the team as their second-best player, with a 1.13 rating over 353 maps. He also excelled individually in offline settings, with an average rating above 1.00 in all seven of the team’s LAN appearances. XANTARES was the only player on the team with a higher rating.
The departure of Woxic leaves a significant hole in Eternal Fire’s roster, as he was not only a skilled AWPer but also a leader and mentor to his teammates. It remains to be seen how the team will adapt to his absence, but they will no doubt be searching for a suitable replacement as they look to continue their competitive success.
As for woxic, it is not yet known where he will be headed next, but he has stated that he is open to all options and is excited for the opportunity to try something new. Regardless of where he ends up, it is clear that he will be missed by the Eternal Fire franchise. His departure marks the end of an era, but it is also a chance for him to embark on a new journey in his professional career.

]]>The post Kaori to replace Danny as Evil Geniuses ADC appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The fast-approaching LCS Championship will see Kaori play on the this stage for the first time. The Turkish player started playing in Evil Geniuses Academy line-up three years after he played competitively in the Turkish league scene.
While in his home region, Kaori got to the highest point of the TCL ladder on several occasions with teams like Istanbul Wildcats and SuperMassive Esports.
?
The Turkish player joined the North American Academy scene this year and was lucky enough to lane beside Andy “Smoothie” Ta, the teams multi-year LCS veteran.
The Evil Geniuses Academy team faced a lot of issues this year, including being placed eighth and ninth after the spring and summer split, respectively.
?
The Academy team were also unable to match the top 10 teams in the two competitions on Proving Grounds. Despite this, the ADC was able to put up a commendable performance during the Champions Queue season this year. At the end of the summer season, the team was notably ranked 16th.
?
Evil Geniuses AD carry, Danny, whose spot Kaori is filling, previously announced that he was stepping down from the team’s main roster. According to the player, he wanted to take care of his mental health.
?
Despite the apparent fact that the team would be lacking without him, the organization supported Dannys decision and revealed that they looked forward to the players return to the active lineup.
?
The players ability to dole out damage and evade death in matches earned him the alias of Prince of Pentakills and helped the teams overall performance this year. Danny had a kill count of 88 during the course of the LCS Summer Split this year and bagged a 7.5 KDA.
?
The playoffs, however, saw a less impressive side of the young player. Danny racked up nine more deaths than he did during the regular season.
?
He also gave a dull performance against Team Liquid and produced 11 deaths as a result of poor positioning as well as inefficient decision-making. While the break could handicap the team a little, the player’s mental well-being is of a higher priority.
?
The Evil Geniuses have had an interesting journey in the League of Legends this year. The team started by winning the Spring LCS playoffs and then represented North America in NSI due to their impressive lower bracket run.
?
The NA esports team went on to nab the first position in the Summer Season and is currently set to play against 100 Thieves on Saturday, September 10, in the lower finals. They were previously moved down to the lower brackets after playing against and losing to Cloud9 during the playoffs.
?
If Evil Geniuses win the match against 100 Thieves, they will have the opportunity to face off against Cloud9 in the tournament finals the day after. The teams spot, along with Cloud9 and 100 Thieves, is already secured in the LoL World Championship this year.
?
Their group placement, as well as seeding, will decide the post-finals group draw show. If the team emerges the winner in this tournament, it will grant Evil Geniuses their second Major win in a row.
