Another huge week of esports kicks off on February 26, 2024, with Dota 2 taking the spotlight.
The 22nd season of the Dota 2 DreamLeague kicked off on February 25 and will run through March 10, with 16 of the world’s best Dota squads competing in the US$1 million event.
Meanwhile, the PGL Major Copenhagen Asia RMR and VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Kickoff regional events will conclude during the week.

Dota 2: DreamLeague Season 22
The first season of DreamLeague for 2024 has already started, with each of the 16 teams playing their opening round fixtures on February 25.
With valuable ESL Pro Tour Points and a US$300,000 winner’s cheque up for grabs, it is expected that every organisation will be at the top of their game for the important early season tournament.
Esports betting sites have marked Team Spirit as +300 favourites to take out DreamLeague S22 ahead of Gaimin Gladiators and Team Falcons, who are locked together at +500 apiece.

In Shanghai, China, the PGL Major Copenhagen Asia RMR will be held from February 26–28.
With eight Counter-Strike teams taking their place in Shanghai, including the likes of TheMongolz, Lynn Vision and Grayhound, the event should be played at a high level, with two valuable Major spots up for grabs.

Each of the three remaining VCT Kickoff events will conclude this weekend, with grand finals being held on March 1, 2 and 3.
