Heroic and G2 secured spots in the Intel Extreme Masters<\/a> Dallas playoffs on Monday after recording wins over MOUZ and OG, respectively. <\/p>\n

Heroic faced MOUZ in Group A on the first day of the Counter-Strike<\/a> tournament, beating them 16-6 on Mirage and 16-10 on Overpass. Heroic’s Martin “\u2060stavn\u2060” Lund recorded the highest rating in the two-map series at 1.36.<\/p>\n

G2, meanwhile, swept OG to extend their winning streak since the team’s disappointing exit from the BLAST.tv Paris Major in May. The European lineup saluted 16-2 on Mirage and 16-9 on Inferno to book a spot in the upper-bracket final. <\/p>\n

Heroic and G2 are set to face off on Wednesday for a place in the IEM Dallas semifinals, with the loser heading to the quarterfinals as one of the high seeds.<\/p>\n
